Iubenda code

Dear Wix team,
I’m trying to use a iubenda code on a web site, they give us 3 codes options.
I’m trying to paste the code in a specific slide, as a pop up slide, but is not working at all, one one of the 3 code that I have.
We could also just paste the link but I prefer to find the way to use the code and integrate the cookies policy and privacy policy in my web site.
Do you might have any suggestion about how shall I do it?

Thanks

Welcome to the Wix Code forums.

You can’t embed HTML in a Wix Code page. You might want to consider using an HtmlComponent . For more information, see the article Working with the HTML Component in Wix Code .

A more secure way to handle web service requests is by using backend (server-side) code. Using backend code you can secure your passwords, API keys, and other secret information. The article Accessing 3rd Party Services explains how this is done.

I hope this helps,

Yisrael

Hopefully, you’ve already figured this one out and are now successfully using your iubenda cookie solution on your Wix site. If not, or if others have the same problem, I would like to share the solution I finally stumbled upon. I had been having the exact same issue and finally figured it out!

You need to enter the iubenda Cookie Solution banner code like a custom analytics tracking code. It is so simple and there is no complicated workaround required! Just follow this link to the Wix Help page on entering a custom tracking tool and make sure you select ‘Head’, just like in the iubenda instructions.

Hope that helps!

Hi,
I tried this last solution but it did NOT work.
Yisrael it would be great to have more details on the solutions you propose.
I would also recall that provide a GDPR compliant website is an obligation for us and unfortunately Wix does not provide any GDPR compliant cookie consent solution.
Thanks
