This problem started a few days ago. The Collaborators page is for members who are signed up for a Paid Plan. When you’re not logged in and you try to go to that page, the Custom Sign Up lightbox opens - which is what should happen. The problem is when you try to close the lightbox, it keeps opening again like it’s still getting triggered for some reason.
Has anyone else had this problem or knows a solution?
You wrote, " it keeps opening again like it’s still getting triggered for some reason". Most likely it is being triggered again. You also wrote “it started a few days ago”. Did you make any changes to the code? To the site credentials?
Post the URL to your site so I can take a look. Make sure you explain what’s needed in order to see the problem.

You can replicate the problem by staying logged out and trying to go to any of the pages under the Connect menu. When the lightbox opens, try to close it. When a site visitor tries to go to a page that’s for members on a paid plan, the sign up lightbox should open (which it does). When they try to close the lightbox, the lightbox should close and they should stay on the current page but the lightbox stays open.
The issue appears to be related to a recent performance release. I’ve changed the configuration of your site and it should be OK now. Try it again - you might have to count to 100.

@yisrael-wix Thank you, Yisrael! The lightbox closes now. I appreciate your help with this. The site loads slower now. I noticed the performance improvement a few days ago - it came at just the perfect time as I’m about to launch this site. All pages were loading in about 1 second! Is there a way to keep the performance improvement and avoid the lightbox problem? Is there anything I can do at my end to accomplish both?
@simontmunro13802 As soon as the logout issue is resolved, your site can be reconfigured to take advantage of the performance release. Our priority is for the integrity of our users’ sites. Hopefully the performance improvement will return to your site in the very near future.

@yisrael-wix just wanted to stay in the loop with you about this. Over the last 2 weeks since our last conversation, I’ve noticed the Thunderbolt upgrade coming and going from this site periodically. When the upgrade is deployed, the site loads extremely fast (great work team Wix!) but when a site visitor tries to access a member’s only page, the lightbox pops up (as it should) but can’t be closed again. When the Wix team has removed the upgrade, the lightbox closes but the site loads more slowly.
So, these are the same symptoms as a few weeks ago.
This is obviously related to the Thunderbolt roll out. I wanted to check in with you to see if I can be helpful by keeping the Wix team apprised of this glitch. I’m sure you’re all working to iron out glitches related to the roll out. Is it possible to get an idea of time scale for resolution or will there be an announcement when glitches have been resolved? Thank you.
What’s the current status with your site?
The current status is that the site is very fast to load but the lightbox won’t close.
Give it a try again. It should work - but will be slower.
Hopefully things can get worked out soon and you’ll get the speed as well.
