Limit Purchased Plans

If this is not already a feature, then a #FeatureRequest to limit the number of active plan holders to each of the pricing plans.

Hey there!

At this time, it’s not possible to limit the number of sales of pricing plans. Great idea though!

As a workaround, you could try selling a ‘ store product subscription ’ instead and set the stock to your desired amount . Once purchased, you can manually assign a pricing plan to a member in order for them to unlock the features the plan comes with. Keep in mind that the client will need to have become a site member prior to you assigning the pricing plan since an account must exist in order to tie the pricing plan to it.

Alternatively, you can hide or archive a pricing plan once you’ve reached the select number of sales for that plan.

It all comes down to what’s more important to you: limiting the number of plans purchased or having them automatically unlock all the features upon paying for a plan without you manually applying anything. If it’s the former, then store product subscription based sales is for you as long as you don’t mind the additional job of manually applying the pricing plan. If it’s the latter, then stick to pricing plans as they are and keep an eye on those sales so that they don’t pass that limit you’ve decided upon.
