I have a one-page website and a horizontal menu where I added anchors to different sections of the website. I click on the menu tab, it scrolls to the section where the anchor is, but the clicked “item” in the menu doesn’t change state from “regular” to “clicked”, it remains “regular”. The hover state is working though. As you can see, I click on the “item” in the menu, it scrolls to the designated anchor attached to the mountain photo, but the “item” doesn’t change state. “Item” should become underlined and “Home” regular, without an underline. Please help! How can I make it change state? Note: the mountain image is fixed, not sticky.
