Linking FTP to WiX Store

So, I have learned that FTP is not available in WIX ( https://www.wix.com/code/home/forum/community-discussion/database-ftp-access ).

But I believe there is a way to call the xml file via a backend function… Has anyone any experience of doing this?

@calum FTP is possible on Wix. I just built a prototype using ftp npm package . I was able to download and upload files without any issue.
