LiteBox Functionality Bug

lite box cannot be scrolled up and down . when trying to scroll down using the webpage scroll the back page is moving not the lite-box .
page scroll not working ( scroll on the right of the page where we click and scroll )
->mouse wheel scroll working
->Touch scroll is working

in my case because of it if person is not using mouse with wheel or touch will not be able to click on save button.

is it a functionality defect or do i need some code to fix it.

Isn’t this a webbrowser issue? I did a lightbox in WordPress and have the same issue there. You must have the finger / cursor on top of the lightbox t ohave it respond and scroll right?

Hi Andreas this is happening in i guess in all the browsers.
I tried Chrome & IE 11 the same problem the side scroll is working only on back page .

Hi,
Does it happen only on preview mode or on the live site as well?
Can you please share a link to your website so we can investigate?

hi ohad …

Thanks Please find the link i made it live for testing

https://japinder12.wixsite.com/univ/univ1
Click on :- Select Course Name
above lite bulb will open

try moving the scroll bar it will move the back page

Suppose the browser is not in maximize mode or the screen size is small save button will be at bottom of the lite bulb . The use can never reach there to click it

Thanks … any time frame till when can it be fixed …

Sorry for the delay - I don’t have an ETA for a fix yet.
Here are some workarounds you might be able to use:

  • Make his lightbox smaller and solve it by that

  • If focus is on the popup itself (by clicking on it or using “tab” on keyboard) then arrows up/down and page up/down works in the keyboard.

  • Use a hidden element (box) instead of lightbox (which will scroll with the page)
    Not ideal, but this is what we can offer at the moment.
