When I make changes to the sizes or spacing on my English page, the Japanese page is altered, and since the spacing and page structure is different between languages, I am forced to choose one or the other. How can I make a change to one without it altering the other???

I know many people want changes to be universal, but in my case, I’ll add a photo under text but the English text takes up more space than the Japanese. I also found that the changes aren’t consistent anyway. I added a few headline bubbles to the Japanese page, but on the English page they ended up repeating random words and were built on top on each other. So when I arranged the English headlines so they were legible, the Japanese headlines moved to random places. I’m very frustrated. Can anyone help?
