Markdown in Editor X

Hello! I do all of my blog posts and even some users guides in Markdown and I am currently trying to integrate those guides with Editor X.

Recently we swapped platforms from WordPress and I’ve been trying to figure out how to post my markdown content in a blog-like way along with the user guides.

I noticed that Rich Text content management fields were recently added and while I could slowly copy-paste all of our blog posts and user guides into each page one at a time I’m trying to figure out how I can take my markdown files and get them into Editor X.

Has anyone attempted this in the past? Anybody have any experience with this? I couldn’t find anything in the forum.

as I know Markdown Syntax is not available at Wix Blog at this point
I also can see that some time ago, some users discussed associated topics on Velo forum:

from my side I will forward your request to the Wix Blog team

While this is great, we are looking for a way to take all of our content that we’ve made in Markdown already that was originally used on a WordPress site to get it into Editor X. I can export all of my Markdown documents as HTML. Is there a way to host an HTML page within an Editor X page?

So I’ve found the iFrame option.
If I design a page where the image resources and YouTube resources are being pulled from another website then we are good to go, is that correct?

I’m just trying to figure out how to make the height of the iFrame match the total amount of content that is in the HTML now.

Is there a way to use Velo to make the iFrame’s height match the HTML content?

nice solution!
You can set section or container size to Auto for example, setup min value to some amount of PX like 300, no setting up the max H and stretch iFrame inside the section. For width you can add the paddings to section.
So it should work for you.

Along with this, in HTMLs there could be internal size settings, which you can adjust.

And also in this article you can find all info on sizing and adjusting, please take a look:
