I’m using Wix Studio. If I’m unable to use a Stack for a given task (also unable to use a Repeater), is there a way to measure the distance between two elements in a section, in order to replicate the spacing of those elements in another section. For instance, replicating the space between a title and paragraph or one image and another. Wix phone support told me that most people just “eye-ball it”. Thants can’t be the case in the next Studio editor?
@Josh1855 Hello! There are many ways you could do this. As I’m sure you’ve been finding, Wix Studio offers multiple ways to do one thing.
One way, for example, is that you can act like you’re going to stack the element (selecting both) and you will then see a spacing option in the inspector panel where you can determine the spacing. (This option will show for elements like text.)
Another way is to actually stack the elements, determine the spacing, and then unstack them.
Another way is to set the docking for each element. (This way is similar to “eye-balling it” where you can drag the element until it aligns, but it allows you to manually type in the spacing/set the docking.)
Each of these options allows you to determine the spacing that you can then set between other elements.

Hi Pamela. The Spacing parameter you refer to in the inspector doesn’t have anything to do with the distance between two elements. It is the spacing between lines text in a text element. The other two methods you mentioned seem like workarounds. Anyway you can add this to the feature requests? t would be super useful if this “distance between” measurement was displayed visually in the canvas (similar to how Figma do it) area rather that than buried in the inspector. It sounds like you’re comfortable with Figma. Would you say this is the main feature you’ve noticed they have that you find most helpful?
