Member Ticket Sales

Hello, My study association is looking to switch to Wix from Wordpress however I have one major concern. We sell memberships as our principle form of income and keep our membership database through our website. Then when we sell tickets to events such as parties or academic events, we give our members a 50% discount. From what I have seen looking online it seems possible to create a member only event in which we can have a discounted ticket and a non-members event with a more expensive ticket. However, my question is is there a way to sync the inventory between these two events or just create one event with two ticket levels, one of which is only accessible to members. Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Currently, with Wix events, you have access to the “Events” and “Tickets” collection fields to work with Corvid. However, these fields are read only as shown in the relevant articles here . If you are aiming for simplicity, my advice is to go with your second thought on creating this event. Creating 1 event with two ticket levels and having one type of ticket accessible to members (via a members only page) will automatically track the ticket inventory for this single event without the use of code.

Hope this helps!
