Question:
With a chat app it’s essential for members to be able to block others who might be harassing them via chat.
From a member’s POV, I see that the “block user” functionality only removes the offending other member from the member list and being able to send each other messages from the member list
But the other “offending” member can still just open up the chat box and send the other member a chat message any time. Is this an oversight on Wix’s part (their implementation of blocking is buggy?) or is this how it’s actually supposed to work?
Feels like I’m going crazy if this is how easy it is for a member to get around them being blocked by just opening up the chat app.
Does anyone have any way to fix this?
