Missing Blog Hashtags

I stared working on a new feature for my site last night and ran into an issue. I’d like to be able to pull blog posts based on hashtags. I can query the blog posts and get results. My issue is that I don’t have any hashtags in the dataset. I’ve added tags to existing posts, and I’ve created new posts with hashtags. The tags work as expected inside the post, but they just do not appear in the actual dataset.

Any input on what I’m doing wrong would be great.

This issue is still not fixed (after 1,5 year). I can’t switch to the new Blog till this is done.
