Mobile Editor button doesn’t respond when clicked

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Mobile Editor button in the top-left corner of my site editor. On one specific website, this button has been consistently stuck and non-functional.

The button for this mobile version of the editor does not respond when clicked.
But the auxiliary line of the mobile version of the editor appears
When you open this page on your phone, you’ll see that it won’t display, just a white background.

Here’s what’s happening:

  • The button doesn’t respond when clicked, and I can’t access the mobile version of the site through the editor.
  • Additionally, when I try to view the mobile version of this site on an actual phone, the page doesn’t display correctly.
  • This issue seems isolated to this specific website, as the Mobile Editor and mobile display work perfectly fine for my other projects.

Previously, everything was functioning as expected for this site. I’m not sure what’s causing the problem now.

Could it be related to:

  1. A specific setting I might have accidentally changed?
  2. A recent update or bug in the site editor?
  3. Some incompatibility with the website’s content or structure?

Any insights or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

What are you trying to achieve:
I didn’t find the same problem as me in the forums, in fact my page is rather simple, I tried to remove some elements, but I still can’t open the editor of the mobile version and I can’t display any element on the mobile page on my phone (i.e. the screen is just a white background)

Have you tried deleting the editor cookies? Not Wix But the Editor itself.

yes, I’ve tried…still not working.

After retrying I came to the conclusion that the lag was caused by too much of the various material and special effects on the front page. Once I reduced the content and removed it, it worked fine. (I don’t think it’s a computer performance issue, I use various types of computers with different memory). There are no other options at this time other than reducing the complexity of the effects and typography.
