More control of text formatting without code

Okay - so it annoys the heck out of me that I cannot control the formatting of text more finely without code.

Example : the spacing around the text is irritating. In the image below, there is a list of different headings; each one has a different amount of padding around and between it: there are no paragraph breaks between the lines. With different headings, come different spacing which affects the layout of the text. (screenshot below). Watch the vertical creep of the headings as they decrease in size…

Also, aside the vertical creep of text, there is a horizontal creep too; you cannot exactly align the top of the text without nudging the box. Sometimes you need to align the topline or the bottomline - but the way that the text always has a different padding around it depending on whether it is a heading or paragraph element makes this really difficult.

I’d be happy to do all of this using CSS, but without this current feature, I’m stuck like the rest of us with Java and meddling with “nudging the text”.
