More Wix Font Options!

In my opinion, Wix has few font options to choose from and adding more default font options would really help everyone on the platform create better designs!

The best (and probably easiest) idea I had was to include 800+ Google Web Fonts because they are all open source and free to use. If you agree and want to vote for this request, click here: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-editor-request-adding-all-google-web-fonts-to-the-editor

An additional benefit would be to include some dropdowns similar to Canva, where you can sort by style (Heading Fonts, Paragraph Fonts, Cursive, Bold, etc.). Even better if you could add a search bar under the fonts section and type the font you’re searching for instead of having to scroll alphabetically. These would be great additional requests if you were to add more font styles.

Loving the idea.

Did you know you can upload your own fonts to the editor? This article shows you how to do it.

This way, you can choose the fonts that you want from Google Web Fonts and upload the ones that you need.

Yes I have uploaded many fonts directly to the editor, but I’ve noticed it has caused some code bloating when you upload custom fonts. Also just in general, if I can just choose the font I want instead of going to Google Web Fonts and having to download and upload it into the editor it would save a ton of time!

@rhen Yeh, I get what you mean.

It shouldn’t cause to many problems if only one or two customers fonts are used throughout sites. (At least I haven’t experienced any issues).

But yeh, being able to filter fonts would also be pretty cool.
