NEED HELP with checkbox and linking it to button

i am trying to link a checkbox to a button and it seems every time i try and do so the code comes up on preview with “open ******. in developer tools”
i need it for terms and conditions checkbox and my work has come to a stand still because of this. i do not code and i have no experience of it before this will appreciate any help to do with this ill put a photo with this
