New feature: Create rich content directly from the Content Manager

Is there an input field for rich content, so that people can make blog-posts etc directly from the website?

It’s great, but it’d still be nice to control the content via code. Presently, that doesn’t appear to be the case. If I’m wrong, I’d love to know how you’re manipulating content in a “rich content” element using code.

not working on X :sleepy:

Need asap

I forget when I responded to this thread, but I’ve learned a work-around for content in a “rich-content” elements. Use “.value” instead of “.html”. . . Using “.value” allows you the flexibility you may be looking for.

Experiment and enjoy!

@workiapps I wondered if they’d been any updates since, re. adding rich content to repeaters?

Any update on this coming to Editor X?

Hi. This feature’s nice but do you plan to update it anytime soon. There are new features that need to be included, and that would make the work easier. I have been using this program and create.vista for more than a year, and they are both great. I don’t want to make any changes yet and hope I made the right choice when I bought them. Our company works with Facebook ads, and that would be nice to see more integration of Facebook content into the app. This social media is especially important because most of our clients are there. Most of the orders we get also come from this network.

I tried using this, but it’s not using my preset styles. For example, my heading 3 style has 1.2 line spacing, but when I use H3 in rich content, it shows up as automatic line spacing. This makes it not match, and it’s difficult to find a work around.

I love Rich Content and use it often. But, there is no way to edit settings on mobile - which is a huge problem on some of the sites I work on.

Rich content can not be edit on mobile ver. In adition, rich content do not have table option, if we need to add a table in there, there is no way to make it

Would really like to be able to put a rich content element in a repeater.

Request a feature update to rich content: Linking to internal pages.
Presently when you link you must include the entire hyperlink to a page. Since I am building my website, I do not want to have to go back to all of those links and correct them with my domain name from the staged name used from Wix’s sub-domains. Or if I choose to change my domain name. The link to internal pages should work the same way you create a url any place else in the Editor, where it asks if you are linking to 8 different things with the Page having the highest priority. It would be helpful if that same url structure was in the rich content editor.
