We have a website for a student organization. In order to join our organisation, you must first sign up on the website and then buy our membership (which is handled as a product in the Wix Store for better payments options). However, one can sign up and not buy the membership. In the beginning, we offered our membership as a pricing plan, which leaves us with different sets of members (the ones who only signed up, the ones who bought the price plan and the ones who bought our product). I want to have all of our paying members in one dataset.
We host events where only paying members are allowed to join, however, at the moment, someone who has only signed up can register for the event. I want to eliminate this possibility.
So far I’ve tried to write a code in the Dev Mode, that automatically provides everyone who has bought our product with a free price plan, so I have one dataset which includes the old price plan customers as well as the new product customers. However, that didn’t work for me.
I would be grateful for any help regarding my problem.
