I work for a small nonprofit and we are looking for a way to set up our site to accept membership dues and fees.
We don’t need any login/member area usability – this is solely a way to process membership dues.

What are you trying to achieve:
We’ve already upgraded the plan appropriately and set up the payment processing system, but I’m not sure which Wix tool to use – pricing plans may work, or maybe Wix Forms? Ideally we’d like to automate a page that lists those who have joined, but doing that manually would be fine too. We’d also like to generate a confirmation email to the user confirming their membership donation has been processed and thanking them.
What have you already tried:
I’ve played around with Pricing Plans but it looks like that may not be the right answer?

Since Wix offers various payment acceptance methods, there isn’t necessarily a single “correct” approach. However, the key aspect is setting up an automation to send an email after a payment has been made.
Nowadays, things have become more convenient, and I believe the new version of Wix Forms includes an option to accept payments. It might be worth trying this out. Although I haven’t personally used it, I believe it’s possible to trigger an automation to send an email once a payment (form submission) is received. At this point, this could be the easiest method to implement. 
Of course, if payments are made via Pricing Plans, you can still use automation to send emails in the same way. Displaying a list of donors should also be possible, but it may require some programming. 
I haven’t actually tried it myself, so my answer may contain some inaccuracies, but I believe it’s possible to achieve what you want using Wix. 
Have you found a solution? I am also seeking to accept our non-profit organization membership dues from the public through our Wix website. I also do not want to create a members only section on the website to do this function.
