My webpages have suddenly stopped rendering except for two buttons that say “click me”. How can I remove them or have I been hacked?

I can’t find them when I’m in editor, they render on every page, and going back to earlier site history versions don’t help. Was I hacked or did I do something wrong? When I use Preview, everything looks fine.

If you’re unable to delete a button in the Editor, it might just be invisible rather than truly gone. First, try clicking the “Tools” option at the top right of the Editor and then select “Layers.” This will help you locate elements that are placed on the page. If you find something that looks like the missing button, click on it in the Layers panel to select it, and then press “delete（backspace button on your PC keyboard）” to remove it. There’s a chance it could be a more complex issue, but I recommend trying this method first.
