onLogout function in Wix Code

Hi Wix Team,
Why there is no onLogout function in wix code API? Currently if a user logouts from a page with a member password protect page, the next screen the user sees is the username and password screen which is illogical and not required. So I want to redirect the user to the homepage once he clicks the logout button.
So for this is there any other method using code? If not please consider developing a onLogout method…

I know about that category. But I feel there is no activity in that category by wix team. That’s why I posted it here. Anyway now I have written a post there too… Thanks

Hey Nithin,

The only activity in that category is under the radar. The Wix developers carefully follow user requests and give them careful consideration. Priorities are not predictable as many parameters figure into determining new features and the development schedule.

Under the radar is not a apt activity status for a whishlist category. That’s the category where your customers and future customers request the feature they want. And if they don’t find any kind of acknowledgement for their time spent ,then they might think there is no customer support or future development going on there. I actually post my whishlist in the form of questions in the questions category only because if this. Atleast I will know someone is reading my post.

BTW. Wix Forum and wix blog community pages are doing really good in the whishlist category. They reply to the customers post by saying atleast this

  1. It’s a great idea.let us think about it.
  2. We are working on this feature.
  3. We are gonna release this soon. But we can’t say any ETA which is against our policy. So stay tuned.
  4. We have no plans now to work on this idea.

I/we just want this form wix code whishlist category under the radar teams so that we can plan things ahead. Anyway thanks for your reply. And please only take these as a feedback. :slight_smile:
