maximize() to open the chat function doesn’t work for mobile . Any recommendation how to maximize the chat box window on mobile based on onClick event. Thank you.

This has been posted about in the Corvid Forum before if you search for it.
The maximize function will only work if the Wix Chat app is shown on your device.
It will not show it and then maximize it if you have it set to hidden.
Maximize will only open the Wix Chat app so that you can read and chat etc.
Minimize will only close the Wix Chat app so that it is then shown only as the speech bubble etc.
