Hi everyone, I have a question (or 10) that I hope you can help answer.
My site is growing and I have to add content that could mean 2000+ pages this year, most of these would include 2 images, 500 - 1000 words and 4 hyperlinks to other pages and products.
Given the majority would be replicated with the same look, I’d use a database for simplicity of adding content.
I could use the forum layout and subcategories, I’ve tested and the functionality is there, however it still ‘looks’ like a blog/forum layout, and for business I think a custom page looks much better.
My main question , using pages and potentially adding 2000 per annum, apart from the huge menu…will this impact my sites loading speed or result in other performance issues?
Either way obviously has pros and cons I guess, WIX support initially mentioned it may be too many pages, so I’m after more feedback before I open up a can of worms I may regret 
On another note, I’ve been using WIX for around 8yrs now and the way it has improved is exceptional.

Great question. As far as the performance of your site I can’t say for sure whether it will, or whether it won’t have a huge impact on your sites performance. I believe that adding over 2000 ages on any platform come with pros and cons.
Let’s see what others have to say. Someone may have examples of sites with nearly as many pages!

Thanks Steve, it’s likely 10years, but 2 or 3 were swapping between WIX and other platforms, I’ve now been able to build competition and tourist info, events and plenty more combining 5 sites into 1 with WIX, been a challenge but super happy

Support desk has informed me that the Dynamic pages will support what I need without any real problems encountered, sensational!
For now I’ll keep using what I have and add this change to next years project, or if there is an expert out there interested in doing some work for a registered charity at a reasonable price!
