I have a collection of film stills that I would like one to randomly display upon loading my homepage.
There was a previous request for the coding to make this happen a few years ago, but I don’t believe anyone ever verified that the provided coding worked.
I am very new when it comes to coding for wix, so apologies ahead of time if I have further questions.

Install the data-helpers Velo package (you can find it if next to the backend files)
There’s a function there to pick up a random record from a collection.
