Rebuilding Site in Wix Studio

Our client recently setup the site for us to create in the Wix Editor.

This is causing headaches however as multiple people need to edit the site at once so the solution is to use Wix Studio.

This page doesn’t go into much detail as to what it means to ‘rebuild’ the site.

For the client who isn’t very technically minded do they need to create a new site in Wix Studio as opposed to Wix Editor.
Then move to billing over to this new site?
Then add collaborators once more but to this new site?

Are there a list of steps out there for creating a new site to replace the existing one that is made in the Wix Editor? Or do they have to delete the existing site first and then go into Wix Studio and create the new site?

basically create a new site in Wix Studio. add collabs. if it has a premium plan you can transfer and pay the difference. So you are not replacing the old site, but building a whole new one.

A year or so ago, you could go through a few steps to “rebuild” an existing classic site on EditorX with the click of a few buttons and it would transfer the site into editorX. This feature was discontinued because it was not very good and caused a lot more problems than what it solved. This article is talking about that kind of migration process being unavailable for Wix Studio.
