I am using a repeater for a client and it works well. However, i don’t understand why i can’t rename the individual items in the inspector. It would be much easier to identify what is in each block and how to arrange or move them. Any ideas?

Since repeaters are designed to replicate the same item, all item boxes will have the same name. As an alternative, how about adding a small text element with a hidden attribute inside each item box and writing a description for each item box there? This way, it might remain visible in the editor but hidden on the live site.
