If anyone from Wix is reading this please just tell us your roadmap. If you don’t plan on giving us this feature please tell us why. I’m sure there has to be a reason you haven’t implemented fully responsive sites yet; if it’s because you think there is a better route for us to take please just explain that.
Side note: If you don’t think that people want this feature you’re dead wrong. I’ve been reading this same thread on and off for 11 months and only just now decided to comment. I’m sure there are 1000’s of other customers and potential customers reading into this.
Second side note: If there isn’t a response from someone with Wix within 2 weeks of posting this I’m done. I’ll be switching over to wordpress. Any response will do. Even a “We see this.”
They are indeed working on it and have been for a while, but it’s a gargantuan task because of Wix’s current architecture. I’ve been told some of these changes are inbound within the next few weeks, but in the meantime check out this:
@fabwiktor Unfortunately not, Fabian. Images do not have an .html property. If you need an image to be fully responsive it needs to be in an iFrame, or else you can have a copied smaller image for low resolutions.
@skmedia Hi David! Thanks for the post. I added your code into my site but don’t see any changes. Is this for Text only? Also I noticed that on the site you listed, the explanation or examples code was different from the one you listed here.
I need to make only 1 element responsive, an html box to be full width. Could you help me with this?
@danyminko Combining this with iFrames is possible, but more complex and it depends highly on what’s inside the iFrame. Email me with your site if you’d like and I’ll get back to you there.
Has anyone made any headway on this (aside the options already listed in this thread)?
I’ve been following this thread in the hopes that WIX would enable this feature sooner rather than later but I see that they still have the voting feature active for this.
