Revenue Share Status Vacuum

Having been Legend Partner for a couple of months now I feel this program at Wix is lacking.

I love the product and customer support, but receive almost now support from Wix as a Partner regarding my Revenue Share status. I have gone to the Revenue Share page, submitted three questions by click on the contact button, but only got one “We will be right with you…” email. The other two went unanswered. Now the button doesn’t even work today.

I am a Business Catalyst transplant and also work with other White Label services and they have programs that have kept and keep their partners informed of their “revenue share” or “commissions” with a simple live ledger. Each one of them give you a cut of your contributions regardless of hosting subscription conditions and incentives.

There are so many opportunities for customers to take advantage of discount annual subscriptions and it seems that these promotions cut out the contractor’s revenue share altogether. Why not give those who bring you new customers a flat percentage of ALL revenue. Why omit Revenue Share with discounts, why not just apply the same commission rate for that. It’s less, but it is still appreciation.

Two months in and having submitted several sites, I have no clue what is happening with my Revenue Share status. This vacuum of professionalism is leaving me to feel like I can make more money managing the website accounts for my customers by adding my commission directly to my bill to them.

Perhaps, I am missing something. So, if anyone can enlighten me about how this should work, I would appreciate it.

can u ask your account manager?

I don’t know who my account manager is. Where can I discover that?

I have echoed your same concerns to my account manager, I have 104 sites and haven’t had a payment since Jan now. It does suck not knowing who’s renewed on that 50% (and I know many of my clients do). I believe these reports should be available to partners, we are the ones selling the plans so to speak. Hope this changes in the near future~!

As for finding out who your account manager is! You can “Request a Call from my Account Manager” from your partner dashboard. I can contact mine anytime via his google calendar and email if I need him

Thanks Shannah!
