Search bar in mobile view

Hi I’m having trouble with my search bar in mobile view.
While in desktop the placement of the search bar looks fine:

in the mobile view the search bar covers the logo, I tried to make it smaller but then there is not enough space to write.
I tried to remove the border but then when you write it still covers the logo

What I want to do is display only the search icon in the header that when clicked it opens a search bar bellow
like the picture bellow
Does anyone know if that possible?

You can do it, you will probably have to use a bit of Velo though. Where you first set up the layout the way you want, collapse the search bar then expand it on the click of the search button.
