Hi,
I ask this as I know it is now possible to display items selectively for mobile or for desktop only. So I am wondering if this is possible at my need’s level:
For items that are permanently displayed either because they were meant to be by designer or either because they belong to footer or header content, is there any way to CODE them on some pages not to display?
Use case: I have a large number of “thank you” and redirecting pages that have no content value whatsoever. Some of the redirect pages may not fire automatically at times, others have timers and may allow some time on the page for the user, but again, there is no content on either type of page. Accordingly, the SHARE buttons on my header have absolutely no use on these pages. Furthermore, when a share was attempted from such pages (considering there is no content/tag based SEO use for them, and given the fact that they are all hidden from search engine and at least one of either desktop or mobile menu) WIX MENU’s PAGE NAME showed up in the share snippet on G+ platform. I was not aware that bit of information would show up anywhere else but on page menus (assuming hidden ones will NEVER be seen was a pretty bad assumption, as they totally can be seen on G+ despite being all kinds of hidden on the editor).
So, I really want to get rid of them on such pages and eliminate the chance someone would share on of these empty pages. Otherwise, my only other recourse is to find a different location for these share buttons than my header, and manually add them to all pages I want to make shareable which is a lot of busy work and I really do not want to be doing it either. Seems quite inefficient. I also do not want to settle with above situation and leave my many empty thank you pages shareable like this.
Any hope I can achieve my goal with code?
Thanks
