SEO Blog "category" pages not very relevant for SEO

I am improving the SEO of the site. I have created internal linking, placed many alt, title, meta description tags that did not exist. But I notice after analysis that I have many pages that have a text ratio that is much too low and I see that these are mainly the “Categories” pages of the blog.

These pages are not relevant in terms of SEO. What can I do to improve them or should I deindex them?

Add content: One way to improve category pages is to add more content to them. For example, add a short intro at the top of the page that explains what the category is about. This gives search engines something to index and helps user engagement.
Filters and tags: If your blog has different topics or subcategories, consider breaking it down more. Add tags or subcategories to give more context and content to the page.
Featured posts: Another option is to feature a few posts in each category. This adds more content to the page and makes it more useful to users.
Deindex: If the category pages are still content thin and don’t bring any SEO value, you may want to deindex them. Use the “noindex” meta tag to prevent search engines from indexing these pages. This will avoid content dilution and let the more valuable pages rank higher.

Thank you. Very interesting!

Hey. I’ve recently seen a new category header option. You might add a description for each category I guess. Can you check that and let me know?

I just tried this feature, it doesn’t work.
