Setting Image Opacity in a Repeater

Question:
Is there a way to set the opacity of an image in a repeater (with code)? If there is no related CMS URL for the image I want it to appear dull / non selectable. I only know how to show or hide an image currently.

What are you trying to achieve:
Show an image as un-selectable.

What have you already tried:
None of the methods that do this for a button work for an image as far as I have seen.

There’s no way to currently do that. You can request this feature on the product roadmap: Product Roadmap

A workaround would be to have a semi-transparent box that overlays the images in the Repeater and then hide/show that box depending on the state you need the image to appear as.
