Share Wishlist #featurerequest #wixstore

We need a resource to be able to share the shopping wish list, as virtual wedding and baby shower stores, available from this resource

Hi Michel!

What do you mean by ‘a resource’? Are you looking to store your wishlist externally?

There’s a built-in solution to create and manage wish lists within Wix Stores, you can check it out here .

the idea is for a customer to enter the site to shop, add all the products he wants to his wish list and share his wish list with his relatives and friends to make those purchases for him, as if it were gifts or tea baby or wedding list

Ah ok - what you’re describing is a registry.

It’s not natively supported, but I know it’s been accomplished using Corvid. @nayeli might have some insight on this as she’s coded quite a few registries (plus she IS the Code Queen :p)

Hi Michel, it’s currently not a supported feature. However, the team is working on a feature that will change this come next year.

As Sheyla mentioned above, a solution may be possible using Corvid with members area.

If we could access the wishlist on the backend, that would be great too. We could skip the public option. Is that a coded solution too?

Hi everyone! I hope all is well. If anyone is searching for a sharable wishlist on Wix, it is possible. I have a problem accepting that there’s no solution to a simple features such as this. Therefore I spent this weekend working with the developer to find workaround. You can use this article to get set up Adding a Wishlist to a Wix Stores Site

Then have your dev create a button users can select on their favorites page to create a public link that is sharable. This is such an important feature that I hope WIX takes the time to implement natively. If you don’t have a dev here is the individual I worked with https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~01973d4f6430906c6a

Also @simone there is an application that can help with that. It doesn’t have the best reviews but I have not seen any alternative. It’s called " Wishlist: Helps Convert Orders"
