In case you didn’t see it, this past week the Blog and Ascend teams added a feature that was on the old blog and was sorely missed by those of us using the new blog. Well Hurray! You can now share your blog post in email marketing easily:
After publishing your post, click on the three dots > Share Post> choose create email campaign. For example, below I am using one of my recent blog posts - It will add your logo, take the headline and a snippet of your article and a button with the link already set up ready to go. Make any design adjustments you want and send to your client list.
I’m super happy that they have added this back and I know my blogging clients will be too as it was one of the main reasons that they didn’t want to switch to the new blog. They like everything to be easy and straight forward and this certainly helps. Thank you team!

How do I add more of the article in the “snippet”? Right now, my email of the Blog post only shows one line of copy and then “Read More”.
Hi Eric, I typically just cut and paste a few lines from the original blog post in there or just add more text in that is a teaser to the full post. I know what you mean that there should be the ability to expand more, but that’s my work around. Hope that helps.
Thank you for your speedy response! I was hoping to put this email on a weekly automation but if I have to go in and add content each time, looks like that option is out.

One more question. I’ve set up an automation to send an email of a blog post as soon as it is published. I created a template from Wix Email for blogs but it is not grabbing the new content. It is just posting the original content in the template. How do I make it dynamic so I do not have to recreate a layout each time a blog is published?
