Is there a way to either code in or create a field for signature capture on forms and link that to a dataset? I would like them to actually draw out their signature instead of typing. Thanks!

If WixCode can allow embedded JavaApplets I have a tool that can help.

There are other third party solutions as well. But I suspect this will require Wix to get a bunch of structural things in place that are probably not currently setup, for tracking user input and signatures and being able to legally associate the signature with certain records and pages and what not. LEGAL COMPLIANCE IS A BIG DEAL AND IN FACT THE ONLY MATTERING DEAL WHEN IT COMES TO DIGITAL SIGNATURES.

However, I agree and this is another vote for us to be able to do this OUTSIDE of an app. I do proposals online and currently have to pay $100+ every month for the service I used simply because it is able to do these sorts of things and is easy to use. But the only reason I cannot do this on Wix and save money is the lack of legal compliance of any sort of digital signature I try to incorporate even with 123formbuilder as these compliance stuff have to do with the FORM itself (even at jform) and not with the rest of the content of the page on which such forms maybe embedded.

And this last paragraph is the problem Wix will be solving in reality if we get a native e-signature outside of these apps, I can actually associate it with a page’s content which can be my proposal and contract terms.

Im sure you could use one of the Docusign Api’s to get an electronic signature

I realise it’s been a very long time, but for anybody interested in a built-in solution - we just released Signature Input .
