*Question:
Can a customer a single use coupon code from an automated email to purchase a ticket from an event? the tickets accept coupons with the main name in the code, but will it accept it with the randomly generated 9 digits after it?

What are you trying to achieve:
Customers who purchase a “hold my spot” ticket get a single use coupon code in an automated email after purchase. This code is intended to be used as a voucher (hold my spot is a partial payment and should be deducted from the full ticket) i.e. Full tickets are $250, but customer can hold his spot for $25 and pay the rest later. When they are redy to pay in full, those $25 could be deducted with a code. The tickets are programmed to accept a discount code, but will they accept the single use generated code or should I just program it for multi-use code?

Only have 3 types of tickets,
Save your spot (partial payment)
General (full price)
VIP (higher priced)
Additional information:
“hold my spot” tickets are a partial payment for the full priced tickets.
