I was pretty excited to see Wix Studio Editor had a Slideshow Repeater element. But now, I have a challenge:
I have a home page Slideshow Repeater, connected to a “Projects” database (which will also have it’s own Dynamic Category & Item Pages).
On the home page we want a slideshow showing “Featured” or “Latest Projects”. The main image we want to be EITHER an image OR video. Layered over that will be links to the Project’s Dynamic Item page.
Problem:
The Slideshow Item’s background can only connect to an Image field in the database, not a Gallery Field.
You can attach a media gallery inside a container to the Slideshow background but not the Slideshow ITEM’s background.
Therefore, when users click the next button, the next project image/video doesn’t change.
ANY helpful solutions, workaround or coding suggestions?
