Original Problem : All buttons that get their link value from a dataset in repeaters stopped working on published sites. Anyone else seeing this? Works fine in preview but won’t work on anything live.
Manually setting the button links is the only way I can get them to work, which makes using datasets pointless.
Solution: Just posting this here fwiw to people.
If you alternate between:
manually setting (in script) repeater button links to dynamic pages
and
setting the link to the dynamic page option in the repeater
the button can reach a state where on live sites it no longer links to anything no matter what you do. Not sure why. Deleting the button and creating a new one fixes the problem.
