Styling links in rich text

We frequently embed links within paragraphs of rich text. Here’s an example:

The tag should include your pet’s name and your contact information. If your pet has special needs, you might consider a tag from TagsforHope . You can include special needs information on the back of the tag. For example, you can indicate that your dog is deaf, or needs medication. And as an added bonus, every purchase at TagsforHope helps animals in need.

Although that link looks like it’s styled, in fact, the only styling that will carry over to the live page is the underline. The color will be lost.

We prefer to indicate links with an accent color, not an underline, and we can’t do that in a rich text field.

I’d like that capability.

And an additional feature, outside of rich text:

It would be great if – in addition to defining styles for entire paragraphs (H1, H2, P1, P2, etc) – we could also define styles for links that would, by default, be applied to all links anywhere in our site (subject to case-by-case override, of course).
