Hello everyone!
I’m currently looking for a way to create a customer review slider on my site without having to go through paid extensions.
I think it’s crazy that there’s no functionality available to do it simply.
In short, I want exactly the same result as I achieved with Elfsight’s Testimonial slider extension, but without having to pay anything.
I want to be able to easily add notices and have them scroll automatically.
After all, it’s essential to be able to display customer reviews on your website!
Does anyone have a solution?

There are a few tutorials around that will help walk you through the steps to build your own review section on your site.
It would require a little adapting as a lot of the tutorials I can find are related to adding reviews to the Wix Stores app - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Agcn8f5NG_o
In short, it would use a CMS Collection and a repeater. The Collection would store all of the data and the repeater would be used to display it.

yes, as noahlovell said it can be done with a form and CMS collection on a repeater, with a dash of Velo thrown in.
I have coded this on a site before. You would have control over which reviews get published to the live site.

I found a farely easy solution to your Problem. You can use the Google Reviews Widget from the Wix App Store for displaying your Google Reviews for free. It gives you multiple options for displaying them, maybe you find something that suits your needs.
