Text Fad Out Work Around

Hi everyone. I am stuck on something that I feel should be super easy to do but despite trying all sorts of work arounds I just cant seem to do it.

I have five short paragraphs of text on the site I am creating. Call them the “Key points” of the business. When you land on the home page, my client wants one paragraph to fade in from a blank space, pause for 5 seconds and then fade out and allow another paragraph to fade in and pause for 5 seconds and so on… and then he wants those five paragraphs to repeat fading in and out.

Since there is no “fade out” effect, I have tried the workaround that involves using blank white boxes in layers to fade in over the paragraphs with delayed animation settings. However, due to 8 second limit in the animation delay settings, it won’t work for multiple layers over time. This method also cant be looped.

Another workaround I tried was to create the animation as a video, but the file size was huge, and the text just looked lower quality than the rest of the text on the page.

Im not a coder or familiar with Velo etc but is there any way I can solve this problem with custom code?

Side Question? Why is something as simple as fade-out, such a difficult thing to do?

animations you would like to set, do no not sound like Editor X Hover interactions, because everything need to be displayed automatically and one by one.

but as I know, it is not part of Editor X capabilities

I think that would be the option that allows the most control at the moment since slideshows aren’t available yet. You can vote on the feature.

I was able to recreate something similar using a Pro Gallery.
