Trying to load getJSON script into backend

I’m hoping that someone can help me get this backend JS to run. I’m getting a " $" not defined. error where the red dot is. This script tests fine when I run it through my local server but cannot get it to run through corvid.

This is HORRENDOUS!. I call custom support and they can’t help me over the phone so they refer me to the forum. I post my question and am told to read up? Are you kidding me? I HAVE BEEN READING UP on it and that is why I am posting here; For F*#&@ING HELP. This is completely unacceptable. I am done with WIX.

You have not read the Corvid documentation properly so you do not understand how Corvid works. If you would have read the documentation you would have realized that site components on the front-end are can be worked with using $w and it is only available on the front-end. What you are using ($) does not even exist.

Just copy pasting code will not work buddy. This is a public forum where we try to help users with their issues but in the end the custom code you write on your site is your issue. Nobody is going to hold your hand and guide you, even less when you use profanity.
