Hi Team Wix,
Please consider adding 2fa for Wix accounts.
Here is a sample 2fa .
Keep up the good work.
YES!!! Pleaaaaaaase update for two step authentication I want to protect my website too
I agree this is very important. But note that it’s a feature request, which you can vote for here: https://support.wix.com/en/article/request-two-factor-authentication-for-wix-accounts
We need 2fa for site members.
Yes! At minimum we should be able to use 2fa to get into our Wix accounts. I manage multiple websites and it will be disastrous if someone I’ll-intentioned gets into my Wix account.
It’s been over a year.
Lot’s of cool new features with Wix Code, now Corvid … but I would not dare go commercial without proper 2FA from Wix.
Status update, anyone?
Nop, no updates yet, and it’s not even on their road map.
3D Secure Payments in Europe were forced on online stores, since Sep 2019, payments that are requested without 3D Secure will be rejected by the European banks.
And untill the moment, Wix doesn’t support 3D Secure Payments, so you can’t sell to Europe.
I think this is a deal breaker for people who want to start ecommerce bussiness on Wix, and that is more important than the 2FA.
@ahmadnasriya Hi,
We already have 3D Secure support for some payment providers (Wix Payments, Stripe, Braintree and Wirecard) and going to open support for the rest one by one soon.
@annali I’m using 2checkout payment provider, which is the only one available in my region, and it does NOT support 3D secure, so I had to give up on selling to Europe.
Wix Payments is not available everywhere, even in Israel itself.
@ahmadnasriya I’m sorry to hear that, we are working on it Good news is that 2Checkout is the next one we are going to enhance with the 3DS.
It is great to hear you’re taking payment processing seriously enough and updating to industry best practices.
It is all for nothing if I cannot secure my admin account with 2FA.
I almost went with Zoho in building my web app.
I actually use their “free email for life” for free email with my domain name.
With Zoho and similar competitors 2FA is mandatory.
In my opinion, a service provider like Wix that does not offer 2FA for at least admin accounts in 2020 cannot be serious about ecommerce - we are talking hobbyist web apps only then.
Given everything Wix/Corvid has to offer I find it amazing that 2FA is still not a standard feature.
