Upload a txt file to root dir

after a bunch of googling it seems this is a common issue
i have a need to upload a text file to the root dir to assert my ownership

similar to here:

and

unfortunately these solutions only apply for ads.txt
(which wix has a built in function for )
mine is for a different service

does anyone know how to do this?
