Use image as overlay

I am developing a Landing page and I want to create this shadow effect on top of everything. I have a png with transparency to place on top of the whole page like shown in the print below. I could do this if I had only one section for the entire Landing Page, but then my problem would be that I wouldn’t be able to click anything that is below that image, as the CSS property “pointer-events:none” doesn’t work on Velo. Any solutions? I don’t know how to fix this.

I don’t know if I should take this issue to the Velo forum, because I would like to believe there’s a no code solution. In case I should post there, let me know.
Also I take this opportunity to ask one more time for the image blend modes feature, very much needed for all designers. Thank you!

may I ask you did you try using the media as section background with low opacity, here is the example:

Thank you for your answer, but that wouldn’t work, as the text and all the elements on the page would be on top of the shadow, and the effect would not look good. The shadow should be on top of the elements to be able to darken them in some places. But it also should be clickable through. These two problems I can’t solve

I set an shadow PNG in the back and set the opacity for all of the elements a bit less than 100% and it mimics a similar effect with while still allowing the elements to be clickable.

The blur effect was created using an iFrame:
