On my site, I exist as a Contributor and as a Contact. As Contributor, I am Admin and as Contact, it shows Admin in blue behind my name.
But, if I retrieve user.Role, it returns Member (both in Preview and Publish mode).
Why?
EDIT: I deleted myself as a Contact, but when I logon, Wix automatically recreates it as a Contact. Behaviour still the same: Member.

In Wix, there is only one admin “the one who created the website”, contacts or even the contributors will take a role of Member, others(not logged in) is the visitors. Also, its better to test the roles in published site because preview mode will not let you change the account, which is by default a member.
