I am struggling to find the solution to my issue here… I have created a custom form using a multi-state box. One of the submission items is images. I have connected the upload button to the dataset, yet I still get a " UserError: datasetApi ‘save’ operation failed Caused by DatasetError: Some of the elements validation failed".

When I try the upload buttons on blank pages, connected to the same dataset it works. It seems to only be when I use it in conjunction with the multi-state box. Is it just not possible to use this function in a multi-state box? Or is there a specific code I need to use in order to make this work.

This sounds very strange to me. It might very well be a bug.

Bugs and system issues should be reported to Wix Customer Care to ensure timely handling of your issues.

I’d also like to take a look at this. Please post your site’s URL. But still report this to Customer Care.

I have the exact same issue! I’m breaking my head off for a couple of days on this…
I do have a custom form inside a multistate box connected to a dataset. The Upload button refuses to work no matter what - Connected to a field through the dataset to the CMS field Image type, or Not connected at all, Just doesn’t work!
