Using Javascript or other language to implement an “Add to Home Screen” pop up window.

Hello,
I have a new website called The 30269 (www.the30269.com). I am wanting to give my visitors an EASY way to add my website url to their “home screen” on a mobile device.
I know a visitor can do this by clicking on the “menu of actions” button (the square with the arrow pointing up), but I want to make it easier and a little more professional.

When a visitor goes to www.The30269.com, I would like to create a link or a “pop up box” to appear with a message that will give them the option to “add the web app” to their home screen. In doing so, a web app icon with my FAV ICON will appear on their mobile phones home screen. When they click it, it will go to my user friendly mobile website.

I have found some javascript demos that demonstrate exactly what I am wanting to do. However, I am not sure if a WIX website is capable to do this.

I have attached a youtube video below, and a website link that has the java script and instructions on how to implement. Please let me know if this is something that can be done using WIX, or if you have any other suggestions if this is not possible.

If Wix made your website into a PWA then you could add it.

Some browsers like Chrome and Apple IOS already let you add a shortcut to your desktop or home screen already, you don’t need to do it via the use of code.

I’m also looking for a code to trigger that. Still haven’t found one.
