Variant inventory from same bucket

What I love about Wix is that I can have variants come from the same bucket of inventory. What I am needing to do now though is have variants that come from the same bucket of inventory.

For example:

I sell masks. The mask, regardless of the size, comes from the same piece of “cloth” that I’ve calculated. (Say I have enough for 5 masks, regardless of if they order kids vs adult large).

But I want to offer different styles that will cost differently, but come from the same bucket. When I attempt to add a price per variant, it requires me to set inventory for that same inventory (so making me set inventory for kids, adult small, medium and large).

Any way that I Can have the different price variants come from the same bucket of inventory? I’m okay with using apps or other websites to do this.

I’ve been searching for an answer to this for ages. I did get offered this tutorial from Wix support:

But it seems so complex for what we need and will need adapting so much that I haven’t managed to use it. I have just contacted them again, fingers crossed they’ll have a better solution.

I think, especially with a lot of creatives running home businesses now, many of us will need this.
