hi guys, Uval Blu, very kindly showed me how to add and fade the video on the homepage when I met him last week. I did this and it’s working fine. The issue is the video is over a slider gallery and the slider arrows and buttons are visible over the video. Why is is? and can it be avoided or fixed?

Hi Uval, yes, the video is in front. The arrows and buttons of the slider are still visible, not matter what I do.
The client wants them visible once site visitors get to the home page. Can you help?
I also sent you a separate email about the gallery images not updating the the order of the database on my own site (www.setdesign.london) Did you see that? At the moment whatever I add last comes up first in the gallery that’s linked to the database. This is despite me putting the data in a different order and syncing it to live. Please can you help with that too?
Can you please email me the name of the video site so I can check?
Regarding sorting - if you go into the dataset settings you can set whatever sort order you like

Regarding the slideshow arrows - that’s a bug. I’ve assigned a developer to it and will let you know as soon as it’s fixed.
As for the sorting - I believe you’re still seeing the values you placed within the editor, since you haven’t copied your data from the “sandbox” database to the “live” database. Could that be the case?
You can copy to live by using the “sync” menu.

regarding the gallery updating issue. i have already tried syncing, overiding from live and every other option between sandbox and live but the photos still appear in the order they were last added.
please can you take a look at this in my account and see if you can fix it? or maybe it’s a bug. either way we need to be able to select the order that things appear in.

I have linked the services to the Qservices dataset and opted for the image and the sub title as required. The image and the sub title turn up in the live site but they do not launch the dynamic page. Everything appears to be in place and this was working before but since i have made changes it has not. I am waiting to launch this site. Please can you help today?
